The
School of the Psalmist was founded in 1996 to provide
the community of Central Alberta with music instruction
by quality, professional music instructors.
To
raise the skill level of musicians of all abilities
(from beginner to advanced) through quality instruction
To
provide practical training for music students in Central
Alberta in a positive environment
To
provide an environment where new teachers can develop
their teaching skills under the instruction of seasoned
teachers
A variety
of styles are taught on a wide variety of instruments by
multiple instructors.
Group Classes are available for ages 1.5 years to 7
years and private lessons for ages 6 to adult.
High School credits are available to those completing requirements as laid out
by the Dept of Education in both the theory and practical subjects they study.
Home schooling students may qualify to use funds they receive for music education
to cover the tuition costs.
